The ETC activities in the Caribbean are coming to an end soon. Following Hurricane Irma’s devastating trail through the Caribbean islands, the global Emergency Telecommunications Cluster (ETC) coordinated resources under the Caribbean Disaster Emergency Management Agency’s (CDEMA) lead. ETC partners Ericsson Response and the Government of Luxembourg deployed prepositioned team in the region to support internet connectivity services as requested by CDEMA, with additional ETC partners who were ready to deploy as required.
