Assessment of common security telecommunication infrastructure needs for Humanitarian community.
Purpose
Identify gaps and requirements for enabling MOSS compliance (please see MOSS documentation for details). Identify existing resource gaps and requirements
Description
The purpose of the security telecommunications assessment is to identify the current status of communications infrastructure within the operational theatre. Once completed, the assessment will identify gaps within the telecommunication infrastructure and based on those gaps will develop recommendations which form the basis for the provision of a common security communications backbone and also identify other potential projects.

The assessment is based on the Assessment Report template and will cover all the relevant items in the assessment checklist

Basic services could be provided within 48 hours subject to nonexisting security telecommunication infrastructure in the area of operations. Report is prepared and disseminated within XXX days

To ensure their security communications capacity and requirements are communicated/made known to the assessment team for inclusion in the report.
