Today we are celebrating inspiring women who dedicated their lives and careers to the increasingly important field of Information and Communications Technology (ICT).

Girls in ICT Day is an initiative, created by International Telecommunication Union (ITU) and backed by all ITU Member States, aiming to enable and encourage girls and women to pursue a profession in this sector.

International Girls in ICT Day is celebrated on the 4th Thursday in April every year.​​​​​ On this occasion we recall our last year’s campaign which presented a number of inspiring women working in ICT in the humanitarian sector.
