In celebration of World Humanitarian Day, we honour the dedicated individuals who work tirelessly to bring hope and aid to those in need.

Among them is Dana Safa, a TEC Operations Officer for the World Food Programme (WFP) in Lebanon, whose story has weaved with that of the Emergency Telecommunications Cluster (ETC) for years. In a country facing complex emergencies and infrastructure challenges, Dana ensures that the technology and communication systems powering humanitarian operations in the country remain resilient and responsive.

We caught up with Dana on this significant day to ask a few questions and find out what a day in the life looks like for those working on the frontline in Lebanon.
